I used to be an avid user of Twitter for purely social purposes. I would tweet funny thoughts and use it to keep in contact with my friends. In the past couple years I haven't used Twitter at all. Using Twitter for educational purposes and networking never really occurred to me, but there is a wide array of people and organizations that contribute to education. Twitter offers a convenient place to connect with other educators while being exposed to different methods of teaching and sources to gather materials from. The popularity of Twitter adds to the amount of people who are sharing useful information. At times this site can get overwhelming due to the ease at which people can share their opinions which can get in the way of pertinent information.

Designing a web page has mostly helped to iron out how exactly I would layout my website. Weebly provides many different tools that make designing the website much easier than designing from scratch. Because everything is provided for the person using Weebly the formatting can be a bit tricky to maneuver. I did have some trouble fitting the text and image together in the precise way I desired, but overall the process was smooth and enjoyable. If I were to customize the website completely with my own code it would be very useful to display my information exactly how I want it. This would take a substantial amount of time and the help of some friends who actually know how to code.

Schools are responsible for providing the highest quality education possible to every student no matter their personal circumstance. If a student with any type of disability needs assistance in the classroom technology can give quite a large helping hand. There are ample technological devices that can provide much needed access to a person who can't normally consume the information. I have never used adaptive technology, and I can't recall anyone I know using such technology in the classroom. I have experienced this type of technology in the public arena when I worked for the Supervisor of Elections office during the 2016 election cycle. They offered people who couldn't see well or at all headphones to listen to the candidates of each race and the amendments. The main problem that may arise with adaptive or assistive technology is getting the technology purchased for the classroom and then troubleshooting any problems that the technology might have. I would need to be well-versed in how to obtain, use, and fix the technology that is so necessary for some students success in the classroom.
